“Schüco ADS 80 FR 60” fire protection barrier doors can be installed in F60 glazing.
Project-specific approval required in Germany.
Design features:
5-chamber aluminium hollow profiles.
Special fire boards are used.
All corner and T-joints must be mechanical (nailed) and made using reliable adhesive injection technology.
Multi-purpose groove for push-in fixing of fittings (locks, security pins, electric strike, mounting anchor, barrel hinge).
In the rebate area of the outer/leaf frames, coated intumescent strips are inserted in the multi-purpose groove.
Sill rail or continuous leaf for identical sight lines.
Only fire-resistant glazing tested for the system may be used.
All fire-resistant glass is sealed in using external and internal EPDM gaskets.
Only tested fittings belonging to the system may be used.
The units must be installed in accordance with the guidelines of the general building approval.
The highly fire-retardant doors must be smoke-proof in accordance with EN 1634-3 / DIN 18095.
